Corona Challenge Failed

Posted on February 14, 2011 by kenc in Ken's Blog

So all my plans for creating a functioning game using Corona during my business trip to Germany last week were a complete failure.

Let the list of excuses begin:

  • The lack of a power outlet on the flight there Saturday
  • Jetlag on Sunday
  • Jetlag and long working hours Monday to Friday
  • The lack of a power outlet on the flight back

This is no knock against Corona, as I never even fired it up.  Plain and simple, I was just too tired at the end of each day to focus on coding anything.

I did, however, manage to get some iPad typing time in on the flight there and the flight back.  I came up with two very interesting game concepts, which I fleshed out a bit.  I will be investigating them further over the next few months as time permits.

Also, I had my longest and hardest workday on Friday — I may have been legally brain-dead for a short time — and I completely forgot about my iDevBlogADay slot.

So ummm…yeah…sorry about that folks.

I will still try to keep blogging, but it may not be as frequently.
